As I discuss in Chapter 2 of Irresistible (“Work not Jobs”), thanks to Agentic AI we can think about work as tasks and activities, not “jobs.”
Think of a task like “creating the weekly budget report” or “analyzing the engagement survey” or “verifying overtime.” Many of these uncreative tasks are perfect for agents. And this kind of “work redesign” is going to happen everywhere.
HR is filled with opportunities.
