Irresistible 2024: Join Us This May!

It’s almost Spring and we’re actively preparing for Irresistible 2024: The Global Conference for HR Leaders and Their Teams. Let me give you a brief rundown on what we’re planning and encourage you to sign up soon.

First, this conference is one of the most unique, intimate, different experiences in the profession. We hold this event in partnership with USC, one of the most beautiful universities in the world. Our event is filled with outdoor walks, events, and an amazing reception at the Coliseum, as we watch the sun set on May 20.

The 450 attendees are limited to global HR leaders and their teams, with very few vendors allowed. This means we can spend all our time with each other, learning and discussing major issues in the workforce, organizations, and technology.

This year we will have many keynoters on stage, including Ty Breland the EVP & Chief Human Resources Officer of Marriott International, Ellyn Shook the Chief Leadership & Human Resources Officer of Accenture, Kathleen Hogan the CHRO from Microsoft, Nickle LaMoureaux, CHRO of IBM, Tapaswee Chandele Senior Vice President of Global Talent, Development & System Partnerships of The Coca Cola Company, and Felicia Washington the CHRO of USC, and many more.

I am particularly excited to announce that we have a special session to discuss legal regulations in AI, featuring Keith Sonderling, the Chair of the EEOC and the author of the European AI Act, Dragos Tudorache.

Dragos is a Member of the European Parliament and Chair of the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Age (AIDA) and the LIBE rapporteur on the AI Act, and he sits on the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), the Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE), and the European Parliament’s Delegation for relations with the United States (D-US).

For sports fans, we’re fortunate to have Evan Pierce, Vice President of People and Culture at the Boston Celtics, and Samantha Khoury, HR leader at the LA Lakers, talk about the real “talent management” issues in the most talent-driven organizations in the world.

For those of you interested in advanced AI topics, we will be demonstrating our latest version of Galileo™, which was only a preview product last year. Our development partners at Sana will be there, so you can meet Joel Hellemark the CEO and his team. One of our key users, Mary Glowacka, from Rolls-Royce, will be there to talk about the company’s new AI strategy and their transformational approach to knowledge management.

We will also be showing you all the brand new Josh Bersin Academy, which now has nearly 50,000 online members, and new AI in HR course and resources.

The event has four tracks: The Dynamic Organization, Systemic HR, Irresistible Leadership, and the CHRO Forum.

In the Dynamic Organization track, we welcome experts talking about gig and project work, change agility, and organization design. Speakers include senior HR leaders from Toyota, Dell, ServiceNow, Coca-Cola, and Seismic.

In the Systemic HR track ,we have HR leaders from Mastercard, TomTom, LinkedIn, Sutter Healthcare, and others describing their new operating models for HR.

In the Irresistible Leadership track, we have discussions on new leadership models, employee activation, and data-driven decision-making. Here we look forward to hearing from HR leaders from Colgate Palmolive, Netflix, Bupa, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Providence, Panasonic and others describe their high-performing leadership strategies.

And in the CHRO track we will be discussing the ethics and best-practices in AI, the new HR Tech landscape, and the move to the post-industrial model of talent, HR, and operations.

The entire event starts on Monday evening May 20th and goes through May 22, with a special workshop on Thursday, May 23 for corporate members. The audience is global and last year we had attendees from more than 50 different countries.

The entire event is limited to 450 attendees, and we are well ahead of last year’s signups, so please register now (Early bird discount ends on April 1). The conference will sell out.

I am personally looking forward to meeting you there, we’ll have lots of time to meet, learn, and enjoy the Southern California experience!
