Responding to COVID-19: What You Need To Know

We have been very busy over the last few months, with more than 200 CHRO interviews, dozens of webcasts, and lots of surveys and study, we’ve tried to get ahead of the Coronavirus response. Well today we launched the beginning of our resources to help you: the “Responding to COVID-19” Learner Journey in the Josh Bersin Academy.

Responding to COVID-19

Making Sense Of A Complex Topic. What Is A Learner Journey?

As you know well, responding to the Coronavirus is an expansive, complex, and ever-changing topic. Not only are there a myriad of issues to react and respond, but there are many difficult topics in going back to work. For example:

  • What should be your policies for remote work going forward?  Optional? Staged? Waves?
  • How should you support employees during the uncertainty?
  • What are the right policies and protocols for testing and hygeine?
  • How will space be maintained in your customer and employee locations?
  • What about performance management, pay practices, vacation?
  • How will you recruit, interview, and manage interns?

The list goes on and on. We have more than 175 senior HR leaders joining us in our Big Reset Initiative and we are collecting their best-practices every week, and we have now developed a Back to Work checklist and Remote Work Playbook for our members.

Today we’re launching more than 40 Responding to COVID-19 resources in the JBA along with two complete learning programs (the Remote Work Bootcamp and Voice and Values in HR). And you don’t have to click around and search – they are all curated in a step-by-step Learner Journey as shown above.

What Are The JBA Learner Journeys?

The Josh Bersin Academy is a completely integrated learning experience (I like to call it a “beautifully designed garden.”) You can walk around and look at the trees and lakes, or you can join in a guided tour. The Learning Journeys are guided tours, designed to take you through a defined set of learning experiences. You complete the journey on your own time, and you are prompted to continue along the way.

At the end of the Journey you receive one of our learning badges, and you become a member of the team who completed the Journey. And these journeys can be customized for your company if you have a number of HR professionals in your team. In addition to the COVID-19 Journey we have a journey entitled Data Driven HR and one for HR Technology, each designed to take you through the most vital learning experiences in the JBA.

All this is free, by the way – included in your annual membership (which is now 40% off, only $250 per year for an entire Garden of Learning.)

Please join us, there are more than 10,000 of your best friends from 88 countries in the JBA and we are all here to support each other.
