Introducing Josh Bersin Academy Live!

Mark your calendar for June 8-10 in sunny Los Angeles on the USC campus as we debut our first professional development conference, JBA Live! 

Why another HR conference?  Well, this will be the first global industry conference dedicated to the professional development of HR.  Our senior faculty and many senior HR leaders around the world will be keynoting, and every session and activity will be dedicated to your own professional growth.

While I was not particularly excited about creating another conference, I felt this was really an imperative. Our JBA members (almost 5,000 and growing) are so excited and active in their learning that we felt we needed a “place” where we could bring the Josh Bersin Academy to life.

There will be four tracks, focused on the most important issues in our profession:

Transform HR: Innovations, practices, and new operating models for HR professionals and the HR function.

Experience Matters: Sessions to facilitate the design and delivery of employee experiences that matter.

Learning and Skills: The latest high-impact solutions to learning, career pathing, skills development, and performance management.

All Things Tech: The hottest, most disruptive innovations in HR technology and guidance on creating an HR tech architecture that works.

We are conducting the conference in partnership with USC Marshall Executive Education. If you’ve never been to USC, you have to come. This is one of the most beautiful campus locations in the world, and brings together the themes of media, entertainment, life sciences, and engineering. We have selected senior USC faculty joining us, and you are going to get a chance to visit some of the exclusive USC facilities as part of the group.

We will have very few vendors coming, so this event is entirely focused on you. The event is global, and I expect that over half our attendees will come from outside the US – so this is a chance for you to see how HR practices vary around the world. And we will limit total attendance to around 400, so I promise you the event will be intimate and a great place to meet others.
