I attended David Mallon’s 4/8 webinar on HILO. In a response to a question regarding how HPI aligns to the 4 level maturity model, he mentioned HPI as being one of two models of performance consulting. What is the other? Thanks! – Susan Willis, TD Manager, Richmond Federal Reserve Bank

Hi Susan, per your question, there are two commonly practiced models for performance consulting. One is HPT, or Human Performance Technology, which – as you probably know – is advanced and steered by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). The other is Human Performance Improvement or HPI. HPI is driven and governed by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). Hope that helps… David Mallon, Bersin by Deloitte
